Sirens in Alcatraz? / Alcatraz Siren History

Does Alcatraz have any sirens currently or had any sirens in the past?
I would doubt one of the highest security prisons didn't have a siren system/early warning device.

In the book "Al Capone Does My Shirts", the author mentions that there was a siren at Alcatraz, which went off when some prisoners escaped in the book. And on alcatrazhistory.com, the article "The History of Alcatraz" mentions an alarm siren being installed on the roof of the ministration unit of the prison.

Well, that's the problem. Everywhere it says Alcatraz had as siren, but there are no pictures, no records of what it was.

Something tells me it's a ?T22 or STL-10... but I might never know.

I seem to recall something being there, I believe a 2.

Like on a tour? If so what building was it on? Google Maps doesn't seem to know where the administration building is.

The Administration building's roof is not shown on google. That makes things a bit more difficult!

Not to mention the guard house burned down. Usually prison sirens alert citizens but on alcatraz it would be for the guards given the location.
