Possible Whelen WS-2500s In Oak Ridge/Kingston TN

Sat Jun 05, 2021 10:39 am

Hello, a while ago one of my former ARS members told me about an FB group shared a multiple photos of these sirens. As soon as I saw this I knew it looks close to a WPS-2500 and it made me backflip off my chair. These might not be what I’m seeing but these do look close what we’ve been looking for. These are “abandoned” and might not see an active day of its life anymore.

I also have questions about these too.
-what controller does it have?
-what’s the decibel rating
-how many drivers does it have?

Take a look for yourselves!

That's freaking epic. The design matches, the shape matches, I can't think of any other possibilities. Unless it's some sort of antenna radio thing, I think you may have yourself a few 2500s!!!

Would you please post the locations?

I’ll post them as soon as I get accepted in the group as this wasn’t my discovery.

Those units were found by Travis, another mod here. It was determined in that very Fb group those aren’t 2500s.

I’m locking this to prevent the spread of misinformation.
