Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

I was browsing StreetView in Luke, Maryland, searching for their Alertronic 6000R. Something caught my eye and I came across this: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.47564,- ... 312!8i6656
I am wondering if this is an XT22 or if it is just something that looks like it

That's pretty distinctly a xT22, I can't think of any other sirens (or other things, for that matter) with two rows of horns like that. Nice spot!

Definitely a XT22, and apparently the top intake cone is missing. Wonder how that happened?

Strange that the plant its on is very clearly active but unlabeled on the map. It probably lost its cone to high wind.

Sadly, the plant is closed (according to Google anyways), and I believe there is also an Alertronic on the grounds (on the Piedmont side) which isn't labeled either. Rheems1 has a picture somewhere.

I'm 99.9% sure you can't see the Alertronic from Street View. Believe me, I've tried.

It's my pleasure to keep the most thorough and accurate map I can. With that being said, while I was able to pinpoint the exact location of the XT22, I do not have an exact location for the Alertronic. I can't even find it on satellite imagery. Heck, it could have been removed and none of us would be any the wiser. All I know is that the plant has or has had, somewhere within its boundaries, an Alertronic.

The last StreetView taken was in 2018, and the last picture of the Alertronic was taken around 2009. It's entirely possible that arefurbished or used xT22 replaced the Alertronic. The Alertronic is also on the Piedmont side, so keep that in mind.
