Most common are Pole mounts, with Roof mount coming next, then Water tower mounting. Next comes antenna tower, then hiding in a cupola.

Roof. That way you won't have to mess with wood poles and power lines and other things.

Pole mount is the easiest method. Put everything on the pole and stand it up.

What about vehicle mounted? Its been several yrs ago that I last saw the SD-10 mounted onto a truck/van

I think the best mounting for sirens is on a good utility pole. Take the Thunderbolt for example I like it on a 50 foot pole with the blower and controls about 20 feet up. Classic Thunderbolt installation.

Kinda depends on the type of siren it is. Mounting a Model 3 on a water tower works quite well, but something like a T-128 or Thunderbolt would work much better if it was on a pole.
