Emporia, Kansas Thunderbolts (solved)

Thu Dec 17, 2020 4:54 pm

So there was this 1003 located somewhere in Emporia and I’ve been searching for months and I cannot figure out where it was, I’ve seen in older posts from about 2008 saying there was a 1003 and there is a photo of it that was taken in 2002 but from what I can see it looks like Dolly Madison but I’m not sure. Perhaps somebody in the forum knows where it was located?

It was probably removed before GSV got around to that area. What sirens does Emporia have today?
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

Not only they had Thunderbolts, but they had Allertors. All have been replaced by 2001-SRNBs.
I still post here, but not as much as I used to.

Correction, they were replaced with 2001-130s, MODs, and DSAs.

I was thinking about one of the towns next door. My bad.
