Sirens in South Korea

Wed Jun 02, 2021 11:46 pm

So I was looking around my home country of South Korea, and stumbled across some air horns on a pole.

Can anyone confirm that this is, indeed part of some warning system?
A school is closeby, so it might be a school bell?
Edit: I also found another siren.

I think those are Bosai Musen.

I also found Bosai Musen on top of a fire station in Busan, and an electronic siren of some type.

As strange as it sounds, I think the electronic siren is a Teho-Ulvo.
But, if you go back in time to the 2010 street view, it shows a cluster of speakers.

I don't think it is a Teho-Ulvo. The speaker design is different. The mystery speaker siren with like 20383947823 speakers must have been replaced by that.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

These look awfully similar to the Japanese UNI-PEX speakers.
