ACA Hurricane Location Near Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (possibly) Found

Thu Jun 10, 2021 4:25 am

I did some looking around near Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station as I was curious about the location of the Hurricane in the newspaper and I found something interesting. The 2001 is located on W Lakeshore DR. & Henry J Buhrow's Pl.

I'd say it might have been the same pole, but the 2001 pole seems taller.
Cool find! Shame the Hurricanes aren't still here. With Darien gone, now there's only 1 working Hurricane in a real system...

And the Milwaukee Hurricane is on its way out as well, will probably come to the same fate as Darien. This is a super cool find and a really cool piece of history.

It was replaced by a refurbished T128 that is also painted black and is mounted on the Hurricane's old blower pipe.

Yes. The siren suffered from mechanical issues and was replaced by a T-128.
I still post here, but not as much as I used to.

Update 2: I need some opinions. I not sure how I feel about this evidence, but I wanted to share. I may have found the location of the St. Joseph Hurricane. I feel the evidence is a bit shoddy, but it's worth showing it.

Address: 2600 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085 - The Shell Gas Station
