(solved) Possible Whelen WS 1000 Found in San Diego?

Wed Mar 10, 2021 5:48 pm

EDIT: There just church bells Nothing else, so no other confirmation of that is needed.

I first Became Aware of this Back in 2018 Long before I became interested in sirens. Back then I thought it was just a couple of speakers but, looking at the ARS wiki it looks awfully familiar to a WS 1000. I cannot confirm this as I took this photo far away and I don't have access to the tower its in. Additionally If it is an actual WS 1000 What purpose would it be needed for? its not very close to the coast for a tsunami siren so I don't Know. Additionally, This is located at the intersection of San Diego Ave. & Twiggs St. Or for simplicity sake, the Immaculate Conception Church.

They're 100% church bells. There's little chance speakers on a church will be classified as sirens.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.
