Loud Speaker Help

Today at a thrift barn I picked up a loudspeaker in rough condition at a thrift barn. Not much evidence on who made it, it also came with a driver that looks like it went through a hail storm and weighs as much as a large rock. The driver reads: University LI Reflex G8173 Model SAH L2. There is only a U L on the speaker horn itself. The speaker itself has lots of scratches, bumps, and dirt all over it. I plan to refurbish it and use it for something.

Why would it be labeled ‘Loud Speaker Help’ if you don’t mention needing help in the post? Sorry to mini mod here but I have no clue what the meaning of that post is supposed to be.

I have to identify this first before I can do anything.

https://picclick.com/Vintage-university ... 21036.html looking online I think I might have a model SAH from university loudspeakers. Any info on this type of speaker?

I have taken as much as I can apart and need to know how to strip the paint off. I can't use boiling water.
