slow model 28

Mon Jul 10, 2006 4:44 pm

i have a 6V model 28 and it doesnt seems to spin fast enough. i hooked it up to a 6V car battery and it winds up slow. the top speed mimics the pitch of a 447. it just doesnt wind up to top speed and get that Q-like sound.

You sure its 6v and not 12v? Spin the rotor. Does it freely spin, or spin for less than a second?

it has some good friction to it. it I dont know why but it has some 'pull' when you try to spin it, like its not effortless. but it lasts longer than a second.
