After 22 yes 22 Years of working on getting a old Milwaukee Model 2 I finally got one today. And as I thought the Model 2's in Milwaukee Were Single tone. Siren was on a pole slated to be replaced with a new one around S-6th and Waterford. The siren is in rough shape as a family of Mice were living in the bottom of it. and the bearings are sized up on it. It last sounded in 1986 25 years ago. I plan to have it running in 3 weeks unless something major is wrong if so than a little latter.

Cool acquisition.

Were all of the old Milwaukee Model 2s mounted on or straddled between utility/telephone poles like this one ? Every one I've seen has been. Not mounted very high either.
