you can hear a t-bolt with high RPM at around the 1:00 timestamp
This is actually an EOWS*612 on the south side of Vicksburg, MS.

I should also note that you can hear Spearman, TX's 1003 in hi-lo at 2:36.

I grew up with this video.

Glad I wasn't the only one to notice that.

I missed the Hi-Lo 1003, however, at least I guessed it the other right as a EOWS and not a T-bolt, it had that electronic sound to it. FS dual tone electronic sirens have a really nice sound to them, despite being based on the thunderbolt, they have that nice pleasing sound like a 2T22 despite sounding nothing alike.

If I designed an electronic siren, I would use 9/12 as my base, due to it's attention getting sound, though for kicks I would have to also do one based on a 7/10.

There's another one of those somewhat cheesy "Lifetime channel" tornado movies that aired a while back that showed someone in the police station flip a switch and a Carters or Klaxon type siren with dual rotors sounded, and you could actually see the rotors spin up to speed.

Here is one of the sirens shown in the film:

Sounded like a slow 10/12 siren

Does anyone know what kind of siren this is?

LOL, that looks like a horrible imitation prop of a Sterling siren.

Tornado! is on netflix, I literally just finished watching it

Here is one of the sirens shown in the film:

Sounded like a slow 10/12 siren (50Hz maybe)

The other siren in the film is a PA horn with the unmistakable 2T22 sound. (well dubbed in sound)[/quote]

MARSAUTOSIREN:That looks like a Homemade model of a Sterling M-5/M-10. Sorry it didn't quote right.

I wonder what siren they used for the audio in the movie. Anyone have an idea? I know it sounds eerie.
