It probably does. You have to keep in mind that it is very, very out there. Things don't really rust away the same as in the midwest. Yeah, they dry rust, but there are probably M-10's pushing 75 years of age that are still in use. [Hell, maybe even older than that.]

Oh now there's an idea of what to do with your old siren...

...turn it into a garden decoration!

That looks like a nice garden decoration, until it turns on. It is not used right? I`m assuming not since there are no wires (that are visible) going to it.

It doesn't count as low mounted if it is a display piece.

Some honorable mentions...

2001 in Goshen, IN

(filming this one for the statewide tonado drill as well as a Mod 1000 feet away.)

no, it doesn't look connected. given that it's in a garden and there's a plaque in front of it, I'm guessing it might be a memorial arrangement or something.

Wouldn't the building of the Goshen 2001 pretty much block the sound in that direction? Looks like they'd have mounted it on top up there instead of in front.

The 2001 is on a college campus, but is owned by the city and was installed around 1994. In 2009 the college decided their campus was not adaquetly covered and they also wanted voice capabilities. They installed a MOD4016 on a building about 1000 feet away from the 2001. Both sirens are still in service, and the 2001 remains as a back up in case something should go wrong with the MOD. To my knowlege, they both sound for warnings.
