Maybe it is, but we have been working on this longer than at least 2 of them, and have the most sirens plotted out of all of the maps.

EDIT: And, I'm back to -11 karma. What's up with that? It seems as though a lot of people on here are wrongfully smited...

And then: River Ridge Elementary School, Villa Hills, KY Theres an active 2001-SRN on a pole. And one more: Just north of the Appleblossom Drive and Damson Drive, on highwater road in Villa Hills, KY An active 2001 SRN on a pole So, just thought i'd add those in. An open source/Wikipedia style map would really save time and allow users to post locations in a matter of minutes. Just a thought.

I have two maps of central ohio.

#1 is a .jpg and shows were the old thunderbolts were.

#2 is an .pdf, and shows where the whelens are.

I can email them to whoever wants them..

Sorry, we are only going to be accepting actual addresses, intersections, and Google Maps. It would be very hard to judge exactly where the siren is based on a .jpg or a .pdf.

both maps were put out by the Columbus EMA.

An yes the thunderbolt map is the general area, of where it was at.
And i think it's pretty inaccurate, it shows one being in an area i know was just woodlands back then, unless they were warning the birds and squirrels of the on coming attack.

The PDF of the Whelen's shows all of the neighborhood the streets, just only names the major ones.
Still i have had no trouble at all, finding the whelen's right where there shown on the map.

Sorry for bringing back an old-ish topic, but I was wondering if I could post a link to this in my website, Tornado Siren Central. Or maybe i could literally put it in my site???
