^I heard somewhere that the Mobil Directo was louder than the Allertor. Where did you get that rating from (I got the Allertor rating from the manual, where it said 126.)? As for the CLM, is "5HP CLM Siren" the official name?
I got the Mobil Directo rating out of a Mobil Directo manual (Canadian and U.S versions) but it was only for electric. I have the gas MD manual but it doesn't have a dB rating. The 5HP Carter CLM came out of the Canadian archives from documents of cities installing them.
I'd take it that the gas Mobil Directos were louder than the electric ones because they were all single-tone 8 port. That is if they spun at the same speed or faster.

I've never heard of Lion King Signal before. Do they sell sirens in the US? It looks to be a Chinese company.
Also, 140 dB!?! Is that using the same decibel system that us Americans use?
