the thunderbolt is not going to be replaced its staying :D
This is strange.. All of our older thunderbolts are staying, and most of our newer thunderbolts, including the famous "Air Raid At A Baseball Game" thunderbolt at Lawrence Dumont stadium are leaving us.

All of our Gridfaced thunderbolts are staying... that's strange.

Maybe it's because all of the older bolts run like saints... when they run RIGHT!

Sorry to be so full of questions, but I'm curious about the imminent upgrade since the old system had such cool and vintage sirens.

BTW, I'm really glad that this t-bolt is staying!! T-bolts rule the world!

Anyway, how many t-bolts (and which ones if you don't mind listing the ones you know) are staying and which are going? Are they replacing only the ones that don't work well anymore, or what, since you guys mentioned that the newer ones seemed to be getting replaced while the older ones are staying?

Thanks, and sorry to be so out of the loop

Lol, I don't mind at all!

Here's a list of the thunderbolts I know are going away.

-Lawrence Dumont Stadium (Former 1000T, Now 1000)
-17th & Gow (1000T w/ Grid)
-Central & Webb (Unknown model)
-47th & Hydraulic (1000)
-21st & Tyler (1000T)
-Wilner Auditorium, WSU Campus (1000T)

Here are all of the "shorter ranged" sirens that are going.

-Perry & Woodrow (5T)
-Cloud Elementary (5T with a single tone rotor in it)
-Kensler Elementary (2T22)
-Black Elementary (2T22)
-Kechi City Hall (2T22)

I'll try to find an updated list soon.

Most are, Except for a few thunderbolts, All of our 5Ts and 2T22s.

Sorry, I'm not a GPS dude, lol. Wish I could be that way sometimes.

All of our 2001s are staying, as well as the modulators, few whelens and a handful of thunderbolts. (About 40 Thunderbolts, 25~30 2001s, <10 Mods, and <5 Whelens.)

We're supposed to have about 65~70 sirens in Wichita when all of the ATI installations are done.

Sounds cool! :)

It's great that most of the t-bolts are staying--nobody (even a non-siren enthusiast citizen) should have to stand hearing an ATI siren. Ever! 8)

Whenever you do get a chance to put up that stuff, it will be fun to look at it!

Quite the eclectic collection of sirens your city has! Great to hear the Tbolts and 2T22s are stickin' around! :D
Viva la Thunderbolt!
