Panama City Sirens

Sat Aug 11, 2012 1:56 am

Hey everyone! Next year i'll be going to Panama City, FL. I just wanted to know if they had any sirens, and where they are. I've been searching and searching on Google Earth but have had no luck. Thanks! :D

NAS Pensacola, which is West of PCB, has a system of ATI's, and 1 2001-SRN

I've been to the NAS in Pensacola...this is one of the pictures that I grabbed. Their ATI's have pointy little hats :D

I think that's the first siren with a "hat" that doesn't sound cool, at least compared to the 3v8 and the Banshee.
What happened when Napoleon went to Mt. Olive? Popeye got pissed.

In the Panama City and Panama City Beach, there are no sirens. However, there are the ATI's and 2001 at NAS Pensacola, and I know for sure of 2 Modulator 1004's at the Navy Coastal Systems Center. They are both visible from Thomas Dr.

Tyndall Air Force Base has some ATIs, one of which is right by US 98 (and can also be seen in streetview).
There is a Model 5 (7?) down in Port St. Joe on the roof of they're city hall that they will soud off for you if you ask them.

There is also another Model5/7 in White City which is across the Intercostal Waterway along State route 71 from Port st. Joe.
Both of the last two sirens I mentioned are in Gulf couty, FL which is next to Bay county. It is a bit of a drive though.
