"It's costs 400,000 dollars to sound these sirens... for 12 seconds."
I will give massive respect to the first person to get that reference.
35 dollars is worth it. Why? Because you can do a tag-team system recording. You can get your friends together, station them at the sirens with cameras... and get them all testing at once! It's too easy! Muhahahaha! Ah-hahahaha!
I really need to lay off the caffeine. Either way though, it is probably one of the more creative ways to attract money. Just like a railroad museum asking for a 20 dollar donation to blow their RS5T air horn. It's kind of like "feeding the animal" but it's just our desire to do silly things. Like when your playing violent video game, and you blow up something... and accidentally kill someone. You just kinda feel accomplished; under that logic, it is a very accomplishing thing to donate 35 of my dollars to sound the sirens.
It's also a stupid-sounding (pun!) way to spend your 35 dollars because if anyone asked me where my money went... I probably would tell them the truth. After doing so, they'd probably come back with, "No, seriously. Tell me what you did."
Interesting nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Joshua
So, apparently, I like Federal Signal...
