Just purchased a model A on ebay!!!!! im pretty excited since its my first siren. im planning on painting it red and putting a CD sticker on the back. i'll also put a new wire on it. cant wait to restore it!!!!!!!!!!

It says federal enterprises so i believe its from the 40s

Siren will be completed within the next few days and will be soinding in conjunction with the state civil defence sirens!

the model A is getting painted. due to a major island wide flash flood warning, including the electronic sirens going off in HI/LO, rain has made painting the siren difficult. it received its primer layer today and is coming along great!

What color are you painting it? The tan color that was originally on it, or something else?
