Chryslers, baby. They sound amazing in attack from far away. I'd place a bunch of them on the outskirts of the city, pointing in at it. I imagine that the ambience in the middle of the city would be breathtaking. If the city were too large, I'd stick some smaller ones in the middle; probably dual-tone ACA Screamers or SD-10s. Cyclones or P-50s would be awesome as well, but they'd probably be too loud for the occasion.

Don't know a whole lot about siren systems though; the only sirens in my area are at firehouses (although there is a T-128 at a dam).

I'd go for some Sentries with battery backup, and if possible, put up a couple of refurbed Thunderbolt 1000s to help with coverage gaps.

I almost forgot - I'd finally put some ASC Defenders on the map. It perplexes me how few of those sirens are actually in service.

In my town, a 40v2t downtown on top of the fire station (replacing a Model 5) would be sufficient in covering the entire downtown area and the suburbs around it, with a radius of about 3 miles in each direction. The police station about a mile west from the fire station (where a Model 2 currently sits) I would place the old Model 5 that used to be on there where the Model 2 is. I would then take the Model 2 and put it right on the roof of my house. Finally, I'd plop a Cyclone at the fire station in the close-by neighboring town about 4 miles away from my house, replacing the SD-10 that sits there. I would then put the SD-10 on the fire station about half a mile from my house. That would make a great ambiance, that's for sure.

Wow, everybody is very creative. At least nobody wanted ATIs.

If the sirens in my city broke, then i would replace everything with 508s.

For my city all cyclone's that are 10/12 port versions

and for a city already take Milwaukee's old Model 2 system and replace every model 2 with a Sentry 3V8. Now that would sound different

One was replaced by a T-112, so how about that lol. That would be a great idea :)
