The Federal 550 (Not 550AT), sadly, the only known one that was destroyed in a building demolition in Newark, NJ, according to Adam Pollak.

Where have you been? There's one in Sugar City, CO, and one in Calhan, CO. The one in Calhan is definitely still used.

If I'm correct, there was a 500 or 550 on a building high above downtown Charlotte, NC too. And one still up in western Colorado Springs. Is the Sugar City 550 the one next to a new T-121?

Yes, it is. You can see both in this image.

The one in western Colorado Springs was the one in Manitou Springs. That one was taken down and replaced with an ASC E-Class.

I'm going to say the same thing happened to the MDs and 1000s right?

My bad, it was an E-class. Which ones? If it's Denver/Englewood you are talking about, they are both getting all new 2001-130's.

Speaking of, there's a JAHIL BAWR THUNDERBOWLT on top of Smiley Middle School in Denver. It has the original "Bumblebolt" paint on it, and it looks very nice. If anyone were to save anything from that system, I would go for that one definitely. Talking about rare finds, there's one for ya.

The older system in Colorado Springs, they had Mobil directos, Thunderbolt 1000s, and 550ATs active from 1959 to 1989.

Or, were the E-Class sirens installed only within Manitou Springs?

I think the E-class was installed only in Manitou Springs. I don't know hardly anything about Colorado Springs' system. djscrizzle, help us out here! :P

I know people will want pictures of the Bumblebolt. I'll link to them since they are very large.
