So are the Visualerts supposed to be strobes, halogen, LED, or what?

That strobe on that Vortex looks a little odd, but at least they are on the siren for a good purpose.

LED. The ones in the video were facing up! Was that a siren they messed up on?

All old sirens from garland have been removed and were spoken for. There are no sirens available from garland. I know the guys doing the installations

Wow thats cool, I didn't notice the red lights on them. They say it's for the hearing impaired when the siren is sounding.

Garland is the second city in less than a year to ditch their ATI's. Those Whelens will be much more effective.
