I think Trevor is right. I've done it a few times before. For us mods/admins, the edit button is next to the quote button on every post and it's easy to do.

Maybe so, I don't recall it being in edit though since I remember seeing Raymond's post quoted when I was typing, but I very well could of hit edit instead.

It may not have been your fault, Bryan, I was having a really weird issue with ARS last evening as well.

I sure has been nice, between the siren meet up and these projects, to get to meet so many of the posters on here.

As I mentioned over on FB, given how bad the condition of that pole was, I'm damned happy to see you guys remove the siren yourselves. Hate to see one taken down, but at least it was taken down gently and under control instead of just falling down and wrecking itself like it was gonna do in the next few years...

Now that i thought about it one of us should of taken a picture of that 2910 over by the rental place. The birds had turned it into a big nesting area and had taken over just about every cell.

We were so insanely pressed for time, it didn't occur to me. I'll be in Norman before long and will make it a point to shoot it.

DJ2226 Noticed the 2910 at Norman High School.

The Norman siren system was full of mysteries up to and after all of the 2910s were in place an operational. Two system oddities were an ASC IForce at Reeves Park and this 2906(?) which was where the 2910 in the photo above is standing now. It is known what happened to the iForce, but as far as I know, nobody knows what happened to the 2906. My theory is since it is a relatively new Whelen and since all of the existing sirens were traded in, SafetyCom retained it for resale to another community.

Well, I went by the Whelen 2910 by the rental place in Norman. The other evening it looked like a Martin bird house. Every nook and cranny had a bird in it. Today, they must all be out at work. It's empty.
