That picture has a Gib key and you have to remove the Gib key first also if the Siren is rusted. The rotor is not going to come off with out a fight. I have had this happen on STL and 2T22 had to spray liquid wrench also had to heat up the shaft and had to use a impact wrench on the pullerestokke09 wrote:To get the chopper off, remove the 3 bolts that are on the chopper as well as the plate. Then screw in a steering wheel puller to the outer 2 bolts and pull it out.
I'm in Delaware County Pa. Just outside of Philadelphia.holler wrote:At this point I would consider just getting another siren. You are rapidly approaching the point of diminishing returns.
Where are you located?
Sorry to bring this back up... I have had no luck getting this shaft removed. I made an attempt to contact Rheems1 but my PM'a don't seem to be going through. Hoping that the user see's this and contacts me. Thanks for the help.holler wrote:Ah ok. Contact Rheems1 here on the board. He can probably help you find another siren.
