I really doubt that. Dual tone was a requirement back in the day if you wanted matching funds from Civil Defense for your siren installation. Civil Defense doesn't exist anymore, and neither does the requirement. Federal Signal isn't going to spend millions of dollars developing, testing, and certifying a dual tone siren just because some of us think it sounds neat.Stevan Z wrote:They told me on Facebook that they were planning to test it out.sirendude2012 wrote:Federal was the one that led the pack by making single-toned sirens in the mid 80s. Federal doesn't even make dual-tone Modulators anymore... that are dual tone form the factory, anyway. Either way, you're telling a lie, or you're telling a lie... unless you provide the official, legitimate message form Federal stating so, or you find some kind of prototype image/new patent visualizing this.
Screenshot the message, scribble out some part of your name if you want, but not the whole thing (to prove it's your message) and let us all see it. You've still provided no legit proof. Legit means some kind of video, screenshot (not edited in any way) or physical object that provides proof that something happened. in this case, that Federal was making this siren. Besides, why would Federal Signal use Facebook (of all things) to message You (of all people), and tell you (of all people) about a siren that directly contradicts what they've made over the past 30 years and all logic that accompanied them?Stevan Z wrote:They told me on Facebook that they were planning to test it out.
Thats because I asked them if they were planning on making one. They said very likely in the near future. Not 100% sure yet. I had to ask them again because I deleted that old message and I'm currently waiting on a reply. I will screenshot whatever they say.sirendude2012 wrote:Screenshot the message, scribble out some part of your name if you want, but not the whole thing (to prove it's your message) and let us all see it. If you can provide ample evidence, great! In the meantime, "I deleted the message" is right up there with "My dog ate my homework" in terms of excuses.Stevan Z wrote:Thats because I asked them if they were planning on making one.
