UPDATE

Thu Jan 23, 2014 10:49 pm

I apologize about me bumping this topic because I got an update about the siren...

The siren is now gone.

I told my father go to downtown Charlotte, NC today to see if the siren is still there.
Then he takes this photo:

^There was a siren mounted on top of this building but now the siren was removed.
They removed it probably because of the building renovation.
