I think I found another 10/12-port Allertor!

Thu Mar 20, 2014 10:13 am

We are finding more and more of these rare sirens! I am not 100 percent sure this one is 10/12-port, but almost 100 percent. It is at Bear Creek VFD, 677 Bear Creek Rd, Hubert, NC 28539. I bet it is used as a fire siren.

Do you think it is 10/12-port? It sure looks like it. I kind of would like it if an official hunt for 10/12-port Allertors was started.

They made 10/12, 9/12, and 8/12 port with this design. The only way to see would be to take a picture of the rotor from the intake or hear it go off.

I think that judging by the intake and the age of it (it looks very old), I would say its got a good chance of being a 10/12 or 8/12

They also made single tone 8 port with this design.
Kicking it in the siren party since '08
