Not to be off topic, but since you are up here, you should check out some of the Siren systems near Seattle. Fife and Puyallup for example.

That Chrysler is perfectly camouflaged for its surroundings, almost couldn't see it there  In the end its still a Chrysler siren and really cool but is it worth it for you to save it.

that nameplate makes me sad. worth noting that Chrysler still produces engines in Trenton, MI; Trenton North was the plant making engines for the siren. Now, Trenton North makes parts to feed other facilities.

Blood, sweat and tears, and time and money. How many collectors have one of these beasts? Ever consider just takin' out the dents and repainting the old boy, it may not run but it would make one hellofa paper weight and conversation piece.

It looks bad now, but just imagine it fully restored and running at full throttle! When you buy the world's loudest air raid siren with a hemi engine, you should know that restoring it would be a huge undertaking!

It honestly looks like a little welding, some spark plugs and maybe a steel or wooden and customized floor would honestly be all you would need to get a spin or 2 out of her. Honestly I have seen cars in worse condition than that but I do agree you should give it some thought.

even if it's locked up, the body work looks like it can be saved

Despite the fact it's toast, it's nice to own! My thunderbolt is toast, but I am choosing to keep it around because it's a huge part of my CD collection.

Even though it looks rough, I'd still take it, considering how extremely rare they are to come across these days.

I mean, it's the chance of a lifetime, and if I were you, I wouldn't blow this opportunity.
