Broken Arrow, OK to Propose New Sirens

Apparently BA is going to propose a replacement for sirens from the oldest installation. I'm assuming Whelen since they've had them since they operated WPS3000s. Good news!

Also they have switched to Wail for tests and tornadoes. And they will do regular tests for storm season after years of no audible tests.

By the way, I believe the 2001-130 in the video belongs to Jenks, not Broken Arrow.

Sounds interesting. I posted my videos from this morning's tornado warning here in Columbus. I like how alert signal sounded with that wind blowing, but wail definitely grabs attention better.
