State Fair Park (WI) P-50 REPLACED!

Thu Jun 26, 2014 4:34 am

The P-50 That was at State Fair Park in West Allis/Milwaukee WI has been replaced I passed by Wednesday And there stands a New ASC T-135 in it's place. The P-50 has had problems in the past.

Wonders If the Hurricane has also been replaced?

Nooo! That's terrible! I wish I had known, so I could've gone to see it :( Well, it had a good "life"!

What a down grade....probably would of been better off restoring and re-installing the siren. The new T-135 is no where near as good as the P-50...yikes

That's too bad! As Bryan said, those P-50s are better off refurbished than replaced. I think the Hurricane may be replaced, as the Blower failed when Bill recorded it. It could be fixed though, maybe not.

Well, the new T-135 is the best replacement for a P-50, even though it's not as loud, but the loudest siren made today. Also, this is what you would have to do if you want a battery backup siren.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

The blower in that siren seemed to drop in RPM as the siren ran. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGp8avTEKHU If it comes down I hope someone can bring it back to life, but i think the blower took a crap.
