Verona, WI - Sirens sounded 9 minutes after tornado warning

VERONA, Wis. — Dane County’s 911 Center officially sounded sirens at least nine minutes after a tornado warning had been issued last month during a storm that damaged numerous homes and an elementary school in Verona.

This is part of the reason people should have a weather radio/apps on the cell or tablet and why reverse 911 is a pretty good thing to utilize instead of putting your trust into the sirens only. All three should be used together. A YouTuber said they have ATI equipment, is this true?

Dane County recently replaced all of the 130+ siren's controls with ATI controls. Someone said that they also replaced the sound boards on the EOWS sirens, but it doesn't appear to be true as I recorded a 1212 and it had the original FS tone.

Verona Originally had a Decot which is now in Prairie Du Sac WI than they had The 1st generation Penetrators that were Battery back up 2 them 1 That is hooked to 3 phase only works the other one is suppose to not work a Federal 1212 and 2 T-128's added. Also Dane County had updated there Siren Map with the new installs lot's of new 2001's And T-128's have been installed lot's of the old stuff gone
