Thunderbolt Tradegy

Fri Sep 05, 2014 5:34 pm

I drove by Chalkville Elementary School a few weeks ago. The Thunderbolt that once stood behind the school was no longer there. It sounded every test and worked perfectly. Immediately feared the worst so I walked behind the school to find this:

Apparently, it either fell down which I'm assuming it did as if you look at the base of the pool it coincides with the dent in the building, or it was removed unprofessionally. What do you think?

It does not surprise me if it fell. There's one in NE Birmingham laying on a school roof that to my knowledge is still there.
