My New Model B9!

Sat Sep 27, 2014 1:23 am

Siren has arrived today! I tested and it works! You will not expect how much the price I bought it for. $10.50! (Shipping was $22.40.) Here's a notice, I will no longer buy sirens off eBay (except outdoor sirens) because I bought too many sirens.

Anyway, here are the photos of the siren:

I believe this siren was made in the early 1960s.

I will upload a video of the siren soon. I do not know if I will restore it. That's all!

I may be wrong, but isn't a B9 the same thing as a Model A in a different housing?

At the old high school in Silverton, Oregon, B9s like this one were used in the music rooms for fire alarms, while Model A's were in the main halls.

Close but the B9 has a bigger chopper than the Model A (and the B9 has the same port as the Model A too).
