Federal Model 3 Question

Thu Dec 04, 2014 6:06 pm

I just got a lead on Luke's (Crazywarriorman) Federal Model 3, and I was wondering what it takes to run one for these little guys.

I just need to know if it runs on 240/3ph or 240/1ph. Someone let me know!

Thanks!

Model 2 power requirements:
120Vac/dc, Single phase 24A or
120Vac/dc, 12A.

I took this from a model 2 manual; hope this helps!!!!!
Whatever you do, don't push that big red button🔴!!!

Please don't provide inaccurate information

As for the siren you are getting, it's a 5 horsepower 3 phase siren. Can run on either 208-230 or 480.

BTW a 10 horsepower three phase motor used as a rotary converter will run the crap out of a Model 3.

I can verify this idea works! This is how I run my model 3... just use my big blower motor as a rotary converter.
