I am pretty sure Dillon is friends with Ben on Facebook, if he isn't I know for a fact that I am (and chat with him regularly, who knew that someone was as big of a Steely Dan fan as I was? LOL)... I would be happy to reach out to him.

By chance, is this the siren you acquired?

Negative, this one is still installed. The one Cory has is most likely the one that was installed by the OSU Tech campus. Although the one that we got still shows as being next to the fire department in historical imagery that also shows that one installed. So there must have been another replacement somewhere.

Yes! The SUV with the trailer was with us while loading the sirens and took them on that trailer to get weighed at the scrap yard. And so was the guy in it lol

Hopefully here pretty soon. The rotor is pretty stiff from all the debris inside and having sat for years. The motor also didn't have a cover so it got rained in and that probably contributes to the stiffness. Cory plans on buying a new motor for it and cleaning it out so we can hear it but I'm not sure when he's gonna have time to get to it. It does have a hex key bolt at the end of the motor shaft so a drill run is a definite possibility.

My best guess as to how it sounds is either an ever-so-slightly higher pitched Eclipse with way less raspiness, or a Model 2 with less raspiness and a duller sound.
