July 1 Siren Test: Where should I go?

Wed Jun 17, 2015 6:38 pm

Alright, I figured I would ask here. My top five are:
  • Ennis Thunderbolt #5

    Denton State School 3T22

Richardson Thunderbolt at Plano & Collins (the one rumored to be active.)

One of Grand Prairie's numerous P-15s

    University Park FD Whelen 2805
(I cant find the poll option. :| )

Moderator edit: added poll option to original post.

I wouldn't do 3. Too risky and after we vetted it out the likelihood of it being active is not high.

At the end of the day as I say repeatedly I hate these posts. Do what you want to do and enjoy making the recording.

Make a poll list. Go to edit and scroll down until you see poll, then add the options (one per line) then add the date it ends. That way we can vote.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I went ahead and added a poll to your original post using the sites you originally listed. Didn't want to edit your actual post so I left it as-is. For future reference, the attached photo shows where you would add a poll and its options when posting a new topic. In the first one-line box, you would type in your poll question to be asked, and the larger box below is where you add in the options to be voted on (each options is separated by pressing the "enter" key to start a new line).

Thanks Ian, I guess that isn't an option on mobile devices...? :?

Oh I didn't realize the State School had a siren there. I figured if they did it was just a T-128 with the rest of that system.

If you're considering going to Grand Prarie, they have a naked and hornless STH-10 in their system that I would like to see or capture video of at some point.
He died.
