Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

WOW I was sitting 700 feet away from the Federal 2001 and I did not hear it. I was sitting 2500 feet away from the T-128 and I also heard nothing

I was up in the Ridge and did not hear the 128 at Pleasant Ridge school but heard the Kennedy 128.I was near Ridge Rd.And outside.

I heard the ones here in Northside as well (the one down on Blue Rock and the one up on Ashtree as well).

Would there have been any reason for Hamilton County to activate any sirens within the last week? I was in Colorado for the last week and got home last night, and driving to work today, the T-128 at Galbraith & Winton was in a different position.

Not to my knowledge, unless they were doing a silent test of some sort.

Can anyone here give me a list of all the active Thunderbolts in the area? Here's the ones I'm aware of-

1000 and 1000T downtown
1000 on Southern Oh. Printing (Not completely sure)

All over the metro area? I know there are several in Clermont County and I think there may be at least one in Franklin (Warren County). The remaining ones in Hamilton must be inactive if their new 508s are now active.

As far as I'm concerned, the only ones still active are those two in downtown. It seems to me that all other older sirens stopped being activated for tests around this time last year. Last September, the Calhoun Hall 1000T still stood, but it didn't go off, and the T-128 wasn't installed yet.

Well, I'm pretty sure the Southern Oh. Printing 1000 is still active. I've seen it off of 1-71 several times lately and it has been facing different directions every month.

It's possible, but I have seen a few other Tbolts change positions a few times, and one of which has a broken rotator. Even other times in the past, inactive or broken rotator sirens have changed positions, whether it be because of the wind or somebody somehow turned the horn physically.
