Sentry Siren Timer and Signal Question

Mon Aug 31, 2015 8:13 pm

Sentry timers (As shown below) have five function buttons: tornado, emergency, other, test, and cancel. My question is what signals do the first three buttons activate?

Judging by how most modern mechanical sirens run alert, wail and fast wail, I'm guessing the 'Tornado' and 'Emergency' button are alert and attack, respectively, with 'Other' running the siren in fat wail.

The functions of the buttons are customized to the end users specifications

That makes considerable sense as Sentry modifies each system for their customers needs.

So there are no "pre-installed" signals? So they could program it to 30 seconds of steady, then suddenly start warbling in a sort of fast wailing tone, then wind almost all the way down before doing 30 more seconds of alert?

Well it's as simple as telling the siren motor when to shut off and on, its possible with the technology today.
