Warning Sirens in Yuma County Colorado

Fri Dec 18, 2015 9:17 pm

I learned via Yuma County's OEM that there are sirens in the towns of Joes, Kirk, Idalia, Vernon, Laird, Yuma, Wray, and Eckley Colorado. However, Google Maps will not let me explore the roads in these towns, so I cannot see what models are in these towns. If anyone has any information of sirens in these towns, I would greatly appreciate it!

The only town that I know the siren model is in the town of Eckley, which is a Federal Signal 2001.

Joes has an Eclipse-8 at their fire hall. Yuma has a Thunderbolt 1003 next to their light plant on a tower north side of the tracks, also (atleast) 2 2001's, one is on the north edge of town in a small park, and one north of hwy 34 north of the John Deere dealership IIRC. Wray has a model 5 siren north side of town west of the highway next to some shops, also atleast 1 2001 but i cant remeber where exactly. Idalia and Laird i remember seeing a siren in each town but cant confirm what/where they where. Idalia's most likely is at their fire department.
