Those little buttons went for more than I paid for both the siren and electrics combined. That was a bidding war I am glad I had no involvement in... but thanks for the tip!

Daniel, The siren is in bits right now and when I get it back together I intend on hooking it up straight away. I shall test it electrically.

The small box that's believed to be a timer is numbered 1-15 on the top. It can be seen it quite good detail in this image.

NB: You can see the actual power supply wires (3 red) in this picture as it was taken when the whole system was "live".

In the US, 208-240 volts is indicated by Red, Blue and Black wires.
480 volts is indicated by Brown, Orange, Yellow
It appears the UK has a similar color scheme.
