Would that German siren be the Hormann HLS 273?
Yes that's it!

For reference, moved the intake of the rotor itself up above the collector rings. Federal also removed a beam that went across the intake, both of which allow better airflow into the rotor.

2001s are electromechanical sirens with 12-port choppers that can produce about 128 decibels at 100 ft. They can rotate at 2, 4, and 6 rpm, and do not use a blower

Somewhat... The older models, round back, and SRN models can rotate at 2RPM, 4RPM, and 8RPM. The Roundbacks and older SRN models (small motor cover) produce about 125-126 dbc. the SRN (fat motor cover) and SRN*B models produced 128 dbc. Lastly the latest model 130 produces 130 dbc hence the name. The SRN*B and 130 models rotate at a speed of 3RPM.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for the info! Notice the "about" before 128, meaning that it is an estimate. A 2001 must look pretty rediculous at 8 rpm lol
