I'm willing to bet the Model 2 will be with us a while longer.

I mean if a VFD or small town is in need of a warning siren, whats the cheaper option? I think the Model 2 still has too much demand.

The Eclipse-8 and Eclipse NH are both very nice sirens, and being mechanical, should have a very long operating lifetime. I understand the direction which Federal Signal is taking, going away from AC-only sirens to battery-backed ones. In my opinion, it is a very good move.

STH10 has fallen

It's too bad they couldn't have modified the STH-10 with a 10hp DC motor, so it can run off battery backup.

All bow down before the Forum God! He can resurrect threads from the grave!

STH-10 is gone, and has been for a while. Personally, it wasn't my favorite siren, but it's always sad to see relics from the past fade away into darkness.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence indicating that you tried.
