Forrest Gump's Thunderbolt

In the movie Forrest Gump; a Thunderbolt is seen on top of a building during the opening scene which was filmed in Savannah, Georgia. I searched around using Windows Live Search and finally found that building. The Thunderbolt is still on top but pointing south instead of east.

Some time ago Chatham County offered me that unit. The main problem in retrieving it is that they will not allow cranes in the historical district. The only way would be to disassemble the siren piece by piece and bring it down the elevator. The siren is in very bad shape and I?m not sure it?s worth the effort.
