Richmond / Contra Costa County California Siren Locations

Mon Oct 31, 2016 3:13 pm

Since I could not find a map of the sirens in Contra Costa County California (OM-120's, Cyclone's, E-Class's, and more) I thought of creating this map of the locations of the sirens. Huge thanks to firepro1120 for helping me out with this map. We still cannot find the roof mounted ASC OM-120 in the north central region and the EOWS 612 and 1212 found on the Siren Archieve. Overall this is what we have for now:

I can give you those missing locations once I get home. A map of all the sirens can be found on the Wayback Machine.

Alright, here is a map me and sirensofcincinnati made a while back:

Since checking your's I found a few locations we didn't have, but there are also a few errors.
-The siren in Martinez is a Model 5, which can be seen on our map.
-One of the EOWS-1212's can be found on my map, the setting it is in does not look like the one on The Siren Archive

There are also some DSA loactions I borrowed from your map, and I have a few you don't.

You did a really good job finding a lot of the obscure sirens that aren't blatantly listed on the map- Which is quite a few respectively. You found a whole lot more E-Classes than I thought they even had- and I have a feeling more are out there.

I personally think the DOW Chemical plant siren is an EOWS-612 or something of the sort. It kind of looks like one on aerial, plus it has an antenna similar to the one on The Siren Archive.

Awesome job!
