Just to point out, the county does have an actual system of 8 sirens...

But that won't stop me from expanding on it. ;)
Don't wait. Take a siren photo today.

Here's the map.

I decided to go with ASC Iforces and Eclasses for this one. There are 97 sirens in total. They were installed in 2007 after a fictional "Tsunami Warning" was issued, and there was a small tsunami that hit the area.

Signals:
Tsunami Watch - Alert
Tsunami Warning - Attack
Severe Weather (Winds <70MPH) - Hi-Lo
Flood - Pulse

STH-10, SD-10, 2 Model 2s

Here is my map, although Google Earth decided to corrupt the file and delete 98% of the locations :\ . Here was the original story:
The county of San Mateo had a civil defense system comprised of older Federal sirens (Thunderbolts, STL-10's, Model 5T's, and 3T22's) and a few fire sirens (Model 2's and 5's). When they decided to upgrade the system, they used DSA6 (X2) sirens to cover the west coast of the peninsula and Modulator 2's for the rest of the tsunami-prone areas. Funds were running low, so they upgraded the radios on the older civil defense and fire sirens to maximize coverage. This was the siren protocol:
Tsunami watch: 3 minute alert w/voice
Tsunami warning: 3 minute wail w/voice
All clear: 1 minute alert w/voice
I am looking forwards to the next challenge, hopefully Google Earth will keep my system in tact. Thanks :D

FSMC #10

Yay! I totally went back on my promise of keeping this a regular thing, mainly thanks to me being lazy. Regardless, let's get started!

Cumberland County, TN: For years they have gone without a warning system, but on May 27th, 2017 an EF-3 (fictional) tornado tore through the northern part of Crossville. This was a huge wake up call to the EMA, and they hired you to install a county-wide warning system. Feel free to use any currently in production sirens. Enjoy!

This FSMC will be due on Friday the 24th at 5:00 PM ET.
