LRAD 360XL-MID

Fri Jan 13, 2017 7:10 am

Let's start this off with a link: https://www.lradx.com/lrad_products/lrad-360xl-mid/#
LRAD has come out with a new PA system withing the last few months called the LRAD 360XL-MID. When I first seen the name I thought they had taken the 360X and scaled it up to the 10 cells that were shown off in a few of their sells sheets and other vendor overseas. Not the case. The 360XL-MID from what I can tell is a scaled up version of the small little 360Xm that uses a larger driver. Much like the 360X/XS and the major omnidirectional sirens on the market these has a driver access compartment on them for driver replacement. This now makes 4 series of omnidirectional products from the company. They rate it at 135 dB at 1 meter and a 900 meter 70 dB range. That range puts it on par 1200 watt omnis from the various manufacturers in the US. It seems to be meant to compete with the Ultra HyperSpike MA-Micro. I'll write up a post on their products later on, because they have some interesting stuff, almost like Voodoo magic with some of their compact arrays for how absurdly loud they are.
This is a link to my old post regarding the other models they sell: https://www.thesirenboard.com/forums/vi ... AD#p170820

Except for the fact that the I-Force is 10x bigger than the LRAD system.
Whatever you do, don't push that big red button🔴!!!

I bet this thing is marketed solely for military installations.
