It this just a miniature siren stuck into a Dixie cup? Is it something like this one? This came from a doorstop alarm and runs on 1.5 - 3 volts (FYI-the Maine Coon behind it weighs 22 lbs. and runs on tuna).

Mount that on your roof or a telephone pole and use it as an outdoor warning siren for your town. Make sure you get an AF timer so you can sound the fire signal as well. :wink:
