Sirens in Massachusetts

Mon Oct 02, 2017 3:09 am

Does anyone know of any locations of sirens in Massachusetts. I live in Ayer and just don’t know where to go other than tornado alley cause that’s way to far away. Need something within a reasonable distance

There are quite a few on the cape, and others are scattered around. There's a Super Sirex in Holyoke, which sounds every Friday at noon (except in the winter). NE Mass also has some 3016's and 4008's for the plant in Seabrook NH, but they don't test regularly. This map may help you:

There is an old super sirex in Newton, not sure if its active though.
