It is obviously a giant vacuum cleaner suction kind of thing. You can tell by the tublar trough thing around it to guide the air around. With a giant vacuum cleaner you would still need ear protection

You can plainly see the slots on the side of the rotors, and the fronts of the stators are actually covers with screws around the edges. This giant Norelco shaver is indeed a siren with three ten-port heads, if counting the rotor vanes means anything. Why else would they be posing with their fingers in their ears? I wonder how long it could run on a single charge?

I wonder whether it had one motor and a gearbox or three separate motors. Either way, just one of those siren heads is larger than anything Federal or any other company made in those days.

I remembered my best friend what this siren is. He says that he saw a siren like this, during his trip to Washington DC, visiting his penfriend there and he saw the siren mounted on top of a single, common pole, next to another building, according to his drawing of that Mystery Siren he game to me, but in his one it has projector / intake cone. anyways, I assume that siren is a Federal Type B prototype.
