Arduino Based AR timer

I was wondering if anyone had built a Arduino based AR timer with relays. Kinda want to build one for my LK-145 and FS Model 2 sirens. If anyone has built one or knows how, could you step me through the process? I don’t yet know much arduino but I’ve heard that the best way to learn it is through projects.
